To lighten post-exercise hypotension, as I have a low blood pressure, I had had water sometimes during swimming.

But cold water happens to surprise the stomach, I changed the water to my Mugicha at room temperature.

It’s more tasty and I feel happy with my favorite functional bpa-free bottle.

元々血圧が低めなこともあり、泳いだ後のふらつきが嫌で、泳いでる最中に何度かプールサイドの冷水器のお水を飲むようにしてた。

ところが、冷たいお水でお腹の調子が悪くなることがあって、常温のマイ麦茶を飲むように。

おいしいし、お気に入りの便利ボトルで気分もいい。

Amanatsu marmalade

I got a lot of Amanatsu, a Japanese citrus fruit.
Every morning I take fruits but it’s too much, anyway…

Eitaros makes 2 types of marmalade of it.

The left side is with less refined sugar “Hanamito”, the right is with general white sugar.

Marmalade with Hanamito: left
the sweetness is gentle and tender, fruits’ flavor is less than the one with white sugar.
Marmalade with white sugar: right
the sweetness is direct and sharp, fruits’ flavor is more than the one with Hanamito.

It’s reasonable as Hanamito has its own flavor, so the marmalade completes as the harmony of 2 ingredients.

I’m not very good at strong straight sweetness, the fast with Hanamito fits me.

It’s a good opportunity to enjoy various arrangement of a fruit. If they are not pesticide-free, the idea couldn’t come up.

甘夏がたくさんある。
毎朝くだものを食べるとは言え、さすがにこんなにあると食べきれない。おいしいはずのものもうんざりしてくる…

連れが花見糖と白砂糖を使ってマーマレードを2種類作った。

左が花見糖を使ったもの、右は上白糖で。

花見糖マーマレード: 左
柔らかい、優しい甘さ。甘夏自体の香りは白砂糖を使ったものより弱い。
白砂糖マーマレード: 右
ストレートな鋭い甘さ。甘夏自体の香りが花見糖を使ったものより強い。

そりゃそうだ。花見糖は精製度が低いから素材自体の風味がある。できあがりは素材同士のハーモニーとなるわけだ。

私はストレートな甘さはあまり得意ではないので、料理の時同様、花見糖マーマレードの方が好みだな。

そうそう、いずれにしても、一つのくだものでいろいろなアレンジを楽しむ機会を持てたのは、無農薬栽培の甘夏だったから。

I took Mugicha(麦茶: infusion of parched barley) at room temperature before, after and between swimming today in the place of cold nonalcoholic stimulant from a water cooler on the corner of swimming area.
It’s more tasty and easier on the stomach.
